Yeah as johnny already said 30k yen is actually cheap being around 216 USD today. The average well made and designed bike will put you back 600+, any bikes for trails or montains can put you back upwards of 2k some bikes that athletes use cost upwards of 8-11k.

What's the money equivalency? Last I checked it was 1$ USD = 107 yen

That's actually cheap lol. Our family friend are big into bikes and they join those marathons, their bike alone is like $5000. 30k yen is roughly 300 USD. Embarrassingly enough my parents also like expensive luxury bikes so we kinda have 3 bikes all ranging from like $700~1200 I think. I really personally don't care about them but my parents do.

Breh i have been using a bike that costed like $85 when new for 7 years, still works well.

I had a very cheap bike as well growing up, but our live in caregiver at the time went behind our backs and stole that bike to sell off for pocket change a few days before she officially quit. She snuck it from our backyard during the evening. After that I just stopped riding and owning a bike. Kinda made my travel to friends houses a bit longer cause now I had to walk but whatever. That's why even I got weirded out with my parents buying those luxury bikes. I did say the same thing, why not just buy something simple from Walmart or something? But they wanted all the bells and whistles that came with an expensive bike, like a high-tech clutch system and stuff.

For your average street bike it's slightly expensive, $220 is pretty standard

Yeah pretty much. Or get the cheaper $100 from Walmart or something so if it gets stolen, it doesn't hurt as much.

The ship is certainly the main reason but the way it ended and the way it was written is another reason. It was all over the place. Especially the last volume. That didnt do it any favors with fans

I read that panel and I was a bit disappointed because I saw it, they were my ship but it didn't sail but I'm still gonna watch it

Basically Mai and Emi were dating al the way but in the end Mao end up with Chi-chan. I have not read the ln but this is what happened, I don't really care tbh becz the anime will never reach that point.

With the sequel it might. I get why people are mad lol what dumb ending but im not of the show so i just find it too funny

yea the ending of the LN reminds me of the Quintessential Quintuplets ending ark a big let down from the respective authors sadly

i'm not even finished with the light novel yet im only up to volume 20

after i heard the ending i drooped the novel in volume 16

Ive already accepted it but that doesnt mean I like it. I only accepted it so I could get over it but then this came out and all the memories of it came flooding back. Im still going to watch this because the story was still good at this point
